Other Initiatives

Several years ago, the 3M Council partnered with Studentawards to create a number of initiatives to help support the work of the Council.  Two of these initiatives were the publishing of Permacharts and the making of a series of videos.

Award-Winning Professor Permacharts

Permacharts are quick reference guides researched and written by 3M Fellows and carefully laid out and accented with relevant photographs or images to ensure facts are easy to read, easy to access, and easy to understand.

Advice for Students Videos

Post-secondary education can be an exciting experience, but there are lots of challenges and choices to make when students first start.  We’ve put together some videos wherein 3M Fellows offer students their discipline-specific advice to help make their university experience great from day one!

The videos below were filmed by Studentawards during the 25th Anniversary of the 3M National Teaching Fellowship held in Toronto in June 2010.
