Current Initiatives

Welcome to My Classroom

Welcome to My Classroom is scheduled as an interactive session held during the annual STLHE conference and showcases the teaching of 3M National Teaching and Learning Fellows.

Open Books

The open-book project was created to facilitate conversations and discussions with individuals in real time. A “book” can be checked out to ask questions, spark discussion, and simply interact.

SoLE Grants

The Scholarship of Leadership in Education Grant Program was launched to support, mobilize, and celebrate the efforts of educational leaders across Canada.

Our Publications

Making a Difference

The book has been described in The Teaching Professor as “(…) a marvelous affirmation of how teaching inspires, enriches and satisfies both teachers and students. If you need a shot in your teaching arm, this book will supply it.”

Silences in Teaching and Learning

This book explores many of the silences that inhabit teaching and learning—the deep silence shrouding what is not said, the stifling silence of those who do not have a say, those magical silences when the most meaningful learning can occur.

Students Speak

The students who contributed to this book have written from every province in Canada, from abroad, and from a wide range of disciplines and professions and believe future students can be inspired by their stories of discovery, inspiration, and transformation.

Our Communities and Members

3M National Teaching Fellows

The community of 3M National Teaching Fellows embodies the highest ideals of teaching excellence and scholarship with a commitment to encourage and support the educational experience of every learner.

3M National Student Fellows

College Sector Educators

In 2016, College Sector Instructors became eligible as nominees for the 3MNTF. Previous recipients of the CSEC award became part of the new Council of 3M National Teaching and Learning Fellows.
